Scope and Who We Are
This website is operated by ITPS, Inc., a Florida corporation doing business as ITS (Information Technology Services). This Privacy Policy applies to the public website at its.team. References to "ITS," "we," "us," or "our" mean ITPS, Inc. doing business as ITS. Separate contracts, notices, or policies may apply to client projects, hosted applications, employment relationships, or other ITS services.

Information We Collect
Information you choose to provide. If you contact us or subscribe to I.T.S. updates, you may provide your name, email address, optional company, city, country, a message, and other information relevant to your inquiry. When you submit the website form, the supplied fields and whether you selected the I.T.S. updates checkbox are delivered through Microsoft Graph to our Microsoft 365 mailbox so that we can review the submission and respond when appropriate. I.T.S. also stores your name, email address, optional company, city and country, subscription status, the first and most recent request IP addresses, and submission timestamps in the ITSPortal database. A successful submission also enables the visitor-name personalization described below for future visits from that browser. The inquiry message itself is not stored as a separate database copy.
Website and device information. When you browse the site, analytics and ordinary web infrastructure may process information such as pages visited, referral source, approximate location derived from an IP address, browser and device type, operating system, screen dimensions, timestamps, session identifiers, performance information, and diagnostic events.
Server-side visit log. For requests to HTML pages and requests that do not match an available website route, I.T.S. stores the requested path, IP address, UTC timestamp, HTTP method and status, server connection identifier, random browser-session identifier, browser user agent, and referring page in its server-side ITSPortal database. To distinguish confirmed human interaction from automated or unconfirmed traffic, the log may also record that a page remained visible for at least five seconds and the general interaction category (pointer, keyboard, or scrolling). It does not store pointer coordinates or the content of keys pressed for this classification. Successful static-asset and API requests are not included in this visit log. I.T.S. may use the IP address to obtain and store the response supplied by MaxMind, which can include an approximate continent, country, registered or represented country, region or other administrative subdivisions, city, postal code, time zone, latitude, longitude, geographic accuracy radius, network range, autonomous-system and ISP information, associated organization or domain, connection type, mobile-network codes, and whether the network is anycast. This information describes an area and network associated with the IP address and does not identify a precise street address or household.
Public traffic analysis. The Traffic Analysis page publishes aggregated visitor-map and confirmed-human technology statistics, including approximate locations and device, operating-system, browser, and region categories. It also publishes attack-probe statistics, including request totals by country and route, and the IP addresses, reported browser or automation User Agent signatures, and request totals of high-volume sources that generated more than ten attack-probe responses. Individual User Agent strings and session identifiers are not exposed in the confirmed-human technology summary. High-volume attack-source addresses and signatures are published to make repeated scanning, reconnaissance, and possible attack activity visible.
Interaction information. We may process clicks, scrolling, pointer or mouse movement, selections, window resizing, page visibility, navigation paths, and similar interactions to understand whether the site works as intended.
Visitor Name Personalization
The home page optionally invites you to provide a first name or preferred name so the same browser can be welcomed by name on later visits. Successfully submitting the contact form also enables this personalization using the name entered there. I.T.S. stores the name, a random browser identifier, the first and most recent request IP addresses, and creation, update, start, and stop timestamps in the ITSPortal database. While named tracking is enabled, that random identifier is also added to successful HTML page-visit records so I.T.S. can review the pages visited from that browser under the name you supplied. The name is not added to an I.T.S. Agent session or displayed publicly to other website visitors.
You can select Change name directly from the home-page greeting. That action first disables the current name association and removes the browser's visitor-name values and cookie, then presents the invitation to provide a new name. If you do not submit a new name, future visits remain unassociated with a name. Changing or forgetting the current name does not delete the visitor profile or page visits that were already associated with it; future page visits continue to be logged without that association until another name is submitted. The displayed greeting may be included in personalized page content processed by website analytics, including session-replay reconstruction, according to the analytics provider's applicable settings and practices.
Article Ratings
When you rate an I.T.S. Tech Journal article, I.T.S. stores the article path, the score you selected from one to five, a random browser identifier, the request IP address, and creation and update timestamps in the ITSPortal database. The random identifier is stored in your browser's local storage under its.article.voter-id so the site can recognize and update a previous rating from that browser. It does not directly identify you by name.
Article ratings are used to understand which material readers find useful, improve future content, display aggregate scores, and limit duplicate or abusive submissions. You can change your rating at any time by selecting a different score on the same article.
Resource Downloads
When you begin downloading a tool from the Resources page, I.T.S. stores the resource identifier, version, file name, SHA-256 checksum, request IP address, UTC timestamp, browser user agent, and referring page in the ITSPortal database. If you previously chose to enable Visitor Name Personalization and that association remains active, the download record may also contain the same random visitor identifier described above.
Download records help I.T.S. understand which tools are useful, investigate delivery problems, maintain file integrity, and detect abuse. A request is recorded as a download only after the requested resource is published and its configured file has passed the server's path, type, existence, and size checks. Rejected or missing-file requests are not counted as downloads.
I.T.S. Agent
When you use the I.T.S. Agent, I.T.S. processes the questions you enter and the recent conversation needed to preserve context so that the Agent can generate a response. Relevant excerpts from this public website and instructions that limit the Agent to I.T.S. information may also be included in that processing. The technology and service providers used to operate the Agent may change over time.
I.T.S. stores Agent questions and responses in its ITSPortal database under a random session identifier. The record also includes timestamps, an exchange identifier connecting each question with its response, the IP address and associated approximate geolocation, browser user agent, referring page, response duration, model identifier, and whether a response represented an error. This information helps us review how the Agent is used, improve its answers, investigate problems, control abuse, and operate the service.
When you select thumbs up or thumbs down below an Agent response, I.T.S. stores that evaluation with the session and exchange identifiers for the specific response, the request IP address, and creation and update timestamps. Selecting the active option again removes the evaluation. The feedback helps us assess and improve the usefulness of Agent responses.
Do not enter confidential, proprietary, personal, medical, financial, account, or credential information into the Agent. Its answers are informational, may contain errors, and should not be treated as legal, medical, financial, security, or procurement advice.
Microsoft Clarity Analytics
We use Microsoft Clarity, a behavioral analytics service provided by Microsoft, to understand how visitors use this website. Clarity provides aggregated metrics, heatmaps, and session-replay capabilities that help us identify navigation patterns, usability problems, technical errors, and content that may need improvement.
Clarity may process page and payload metadata, pseudonymous user and session identifiers, interaction events such as clicks, scrolling and pointer movement, page dimensions and visibility, performance and diagnostic events, and information needed to reconstruct the page and its changes for session playback. Session replay is a reconstruction of page elements and interactions, not a conventional camera or screen-recording video.
Microsoft states that privacy-sensitive fields are masked and that text entered into input fields is masked. We do not use Clarity to intentionally collect the contents of messages entered into the contact form. After a visitor name is saved and displayed as ordinary personalized page text, it may be included in the reconstructed page content processed by Clarity.

How We Use Information
We use information processed through the website to:
- operate, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot the website;
- understand traffic, navigation, and interaction patterns;
- measure the usefulness of Tech Journal articles through aggregate ratings;
- measure the use of published tools and protect resource downloads from abuse;
- evaluate and improve I.T.S. Agent responses through optional feedback;
- recognize a visitor by a voluntarily supplied name and understand navigation from that browser while named tracking is enabled;
- improve accessibility, content, layout, performance, and user experience;
- detect errors, abuse, fraud, or security threats;
- respond to inquiries and communicate about requested services;
- send occasional I.T.S. updates to people who expressly select the subscription option;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce applicable terms.
We do not use the public website's contact form or Clarity session replays to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about visitors.
Data Retention
We retain direct communications for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations.
Microsoft publishes separate retention periods for different Clarity data types. As of this policy's last update, standard playback data is generally retained for 30 days, while click or aggregated data and certain labeled, favorited, heatmap, or sampled data may be retained for up to 9 months. Server-side visit records, website contact and subscription records, visitor profiles and previously associated named-navigation history, article ratings, resource-download records, Agent conversation sessions, messages and response feedback, and associated approximate IP-geolocation results are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to understand website traffic and content usefulness, improve answers and articles, operate and secure the site, investigate technical problems or abuse, and meet applicable legal obligations. Selecting Change name stops the current name association before requesting another name, but does not erase the stored profile or earlier associated history. A geolocation result may be reused for later visits or Agent messages from the same IP address and periodically refreshed.
We may retain information longer when required by law, necessary for security or dispute resolution, or preserved in backups until those backups are overwritten under normal procedures.
Your Choices and Cookie Controls
If you subscribe to I.T.S. updates, you can withdraw that choice at any time by emailing info@its.team. Withdrawing from updates does not prevent you from sending inquiries or using the public website.
You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies. Blocking cookies may limit Clarity's ability to connect multiple page views into one session but should not prevent access to the public content of this website.
Clarity supports Global Privacy Control in applicable circumstances. Microsoft also provides information about advertising and analytics choices in the Microsoft Privacy Statement. Browser "Do Not Track" signals are not uniformly recognized across the industry and may not be honored by Clarity.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information; obtain a portable copy; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent where processing relies on consent; opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling; and appeal the denial of a request.
To exercise a right concerning information controlled by ITS, email info@its.team. Describe your request and the context in which you interacted with us. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting. You may use an authorized agent where permitted by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
Because Clarity uses pseudonymous identifiers rather than an I.T.S. account, we may not always be able to associate analytics data with a specific person. Requests concerning information independently controlled by Microsoft should be directed through the privacy options described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we process. No transmission, storage system, or security control is guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children's Privacy
This website and our services are directed to businesses and professionals and are not intended for children. We do not knowingly use this website to collect personal information from children. Microsoft advises that Clarity should not be used on websites or applications targeting people under 18.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the website, analytics configuration, legal requirements, or our practices. The "Last updated" date identifies the latest revision. Material changes may be communicated through an additional website notice when appropriate.
